The ARC was incorporated in 1966
with the following objectives:
To promote the breeding of purebred retrievers and bring their natural qualities toward perfection. To protect and advance the interests of the retriever breeds by encouraging sportsmanlike competition. To promote the efforts of game conservation through the use of hunting companions. To conduct sanctioned and licensed Field Trials and Hunting Tests under the rules of the American Kennel Club. |
